Releases

Every month we dig for new releases to play during our classes. Our roster of DJs channel the latest electronic tunes so that you're listening to human-picked sounds through our hi-fidelity sound system instead of the same Spotify playlists and algorithms used in most other studios around London.

A few of our favourites below (including ones for the dancefloor)

Javano - Metropolis by Temple of Sound

Never Too Late by Sub Basics

Sketches from Memories (19-24) by Fefe

"A collection of unmastered tracks made between 2019-2024. For years these were sitting stagnant on an endless loop, forever lost in the digital box."

waveforms 19-20 by Pugilist

A - Waveform 19

A light yet ominous atmospheric intro opens Puglist’s account on Waveforms, quickly showcasing the Spatial family debutant’s shrewd prowess for mid 90’s breakbeats. An instantly familiar vocal sample gunning for your mind body and soul punctuates proceedings while solid breaks lead into a crunching amen throwdown - edited superbly with tricky arrangements and glorious melodic synthwork.

B - Waveform 20

Straight into the breaks without delay, a DJ-friendly intro from Pugilist quickly escalates into a scintillating amen showcase with crisp, detailed edits taking you right back to a dirty basement dancefloor rippling with underground energy in 1994. Peppered with samples and light vocal hits - not to mention the doomsday basslines ready to tear holes in your sub - Puglist has announced himself in style to the Spatial family.

Hydrosphere EP by Midnight Tenderness

After highly acclaimed releases from OK EG and Donald’s House, Wax’o Paradiso Recordings proudly welcomes Naarm/Melbourne producer Midnight Tenderness (Ryan Hunter) to the fold. Over four tracks the ‘Hydrosphere EP’ continues the label’s narrative of platforming contemporary antipodean psychedelia with three masterful productions and a remix from Boorloo/Perth’s Hame DJ.

As a producer with influences rooted in dub, street soul, boogie and the DNA of UK club music, Ryan draws down on the Middy T sound with the title track ‘Hydrosphere’, a blend of broken machine funk, glistening synth lines and beautiful crisp drum programming. ‘Rain Vibe’ takes the sound palette further adding a hefty wub for good measure. ‘Catamaran’ transports us back to the golden era on the Balearic isles, with the original evoking Ibizan sunset cruises whilst Hame DJ’s remix brings some Madchester chug to the mix.

GEKO01 by OK EG

OK EG are a quietly influential force in electronic music, renowned for their masterful sound design, organic textures and meticulous arrangements. Forward thinking, always explorative and genre agnostic, the duo are at the leading edge of the Australian sound.

Now entering the 10th year of their collaboration, Melbourne based producers Lauren Squire and Matthew Wilson have arrived with their own imprint called GEKO.
GEKO is a platform for the duo to stretch out, freed from outside influences and in total control of the creative vision.

This is high functioning dance music that bristles with confidence, expressed in vivid colour. Hypnotic, transportive and completely their own.
The process is hybrid, analog machines connected directly to digital workflows. Two minds in sync.

Hibiscus Feat. B by africka from Hibiscus by Carré

Carré following up a string of great releases with another solid 140-project on Tempa, featuring her signature spaced out-dubstep productions and a lead track with LA-rapper Bbyafricka that you’re definitely going to hear in clubs & festivals this year.

Studies On A River by Hinako Omori

In Japan, water is also deeply instilled in our culture as a sacred source - as one example, we cleanse ourselves with water at the entrance of a shrine, to purify the body and mind.

The composition is made of three studies relating to the three sections of a river, weaving together synthesizer soundscapes and field recordings from various sources of water between Yugawara, Kyoto and Osaka - starting with the upper section, the waterfall, travelling down to the middle, broader section where it slows in pace, and finally the lower section where the river eventually meets the sea.

Lilium VA by Intersub

"Lilium marks our fourth annual Various Artists release - another curious and emotive excavation of electronic music emerging from predominantly Swiss-based artists. A warm embrace cut with a rugged core, this ten-track album has a strong ambient and new age flavour that playfully traverses into deconstructed broken beat, bass-heavy architectures, high-energy jungle, and the hypnotic drive of tech-house and acid-leaning grooves."

'Realm Of Symbols' by Đ.K.

Đ.K.’s razor sharp percussion experiments are a perfect fit for Trule following excellent releases on Antinote, Midgar, and his own Worship Productions. Sparse, brooding sound design cut through with deft and sprawling hand percussion workouts. True Body Music

'Music For Melted Floors' by Sabla

Pensaments Sònics is a new label born from the necessity to release albums from a sonic perspective. The label will focus on works and projects built around artist conceptualization, sound design, experimentation, new creative approaches, innovative techniques and the exploration of artistic boundaries and intersections with other art forms.

schuttle - Noisome Pools by schuttle

Newcastle-via-Manchester artist schuttle co-founded Bakk Heia with Jorg Kuning, Bitzer Malo, and Samuel Tomsky, stemming from Bitzer's now 8-year-running Bakk Heia party at Salford's The White Hotel, where the four regularly deliver their signature mix of swampy euphoria.

schuttle's releases effortlessly blur the lines between club and home listening and have received support from Ben UFO, Joe Delon, Jane Fitz, Kiernan Laveaux, Barker, Pariah, and more.

'Acid Dub Versions III' by Om Unit

Om Unit presents Acid Dub Versions III, the third set of remixes of material taken from all three volumes of his legendary Acid Dub Studies album trilogy. Taken together, all three Acid Dub Studies releases and their remix companions have proven a highly influential series, and Om Unit’s best-selling work by far. 'Spirit' from Silent Green by OK EG

OK EG turn inwards on Silent Green, their new release on Kia’s ambient label Cirrus. Written for a live performance in Berlin, Silent Green finds balance between intimate post club dream states and low tempo rhythmic workouts.

'Wan' from Verses GT by Verses GT

Jacques Greene and Nosaj Thing are Verses GT - the project, the group, the debut album, the live show, the moving image. An all encompassing banner for a new collaborative world. Following surprise singles “Too Close” (ft. Ouri) in 2023, “RB3” in 2024 and “Unknown” in 2025, Verses GT is a heavyweight and tangible record that expresses a bold and elegant vision reflecting both lived-in and lived-through modern times.

There's a hazy, meditative weight to Verses GT, not in an overtly emotional way, but as the result of intention and purpose. The album is coupled with an understated confidence to strip things back and cause a slow down in our everyday—an internal and external move that exists if we want it to. "Can we reduce the outlets and distill it down to its purest essence?" asks Phillipe, of their songwriting approach that sparks and insinuates throughout the album. "This is it. It's really betting on headspace and a feeling of being locked in."

'Signal to Noise' from Poly by Efdemin

After a six-year hiatus, Efdemin returns with POLY — his fifth studio album, released on the recently revived Berghain-affiliated label, Ostgut Ton.

As the title suggests, POLY explores multiplicity: of rhythm, texture, style, and emotion. Across eleven meticulously sculpted textures, the album weaves a multidimensional web of sonic references, nodding to the origins of techno while pushing resolutely into uncharted terrain.

POLY feels like an afterglow — of decades on the dancefloor, of restless sonic exploration, and of a profound connection to the spaces and communities that have shaped Efdemin’s sound.
