Deep Listening Room

The Deep Listening Room is a special session created to allow a lying down audience experience DJ sets in a completely new context. Held on select Saturday we invite a new artist each time to explore the spectrum of sound inside our fully acoustically treated studio with a 10 piece hi-fidelity sound system, allowing you to experience the multidimensional layers of electronic music in an intentional and pure way without other sensory distractions.

As you lie down, be transported by various frequencies to other landscapes. Practise active deep listening by not only listen through your ears but also listen through the body, feeling how different sounds influence your physical, emotional and spiritual bodies

We encourage DJs to go beyond the typical ambient sounds associated to these session, selecting tracks suitable for the dance floor and allowing the audience to explore these tracks without movement. Having the opportunity to listen in this way often provides people with a profound, expansive and lasting experiences of sound unlike anything experienced before.
